Capital Clips: Harden hits for 36 to continue win streak

You could throw a stone in any direction in Washington, D.C. and hit something of great importance.
Naturally, this makes sense. It is, after all, the nation’s capital.
Two blocks south of Capital One Arena rests the Lincoln Memorial. Two blocks west sits Ford’s Theater. It creates a unique setting for any occasion.
On Monday, just an aforementioned stone’s throw from where Martin Luther King Jr. made his famous speech at the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in 1963, it served as the site of a basketball game which saw James Harden lead the LA Clippers (19-23) to a 110-106 win over the Washington Wizards (10-32).
“That’s what he’s done for us all year,” Clippers coach Tyronn Lue said of Harden after the guard dropped 36 points, nine assists, and seven rebounds in 37 minutes to give the team their sixth straight victory.
