James Harden debuts new Adidas Harden Volume 9s, scores 41 to lead Clippers to win
The guard dazzled the Intuit Dome crowd with 7 threes in 29 minutes.
INGLEWOOD, Calif. -- The second-most impressive thing that LA Clippers guard James Harden did on Monday night was debut his new signature Adidas Harden Volume 9 shoe, a chrome look that glistened off the hardwood and into the eyes of all who dared to stare.
But like a Christmas tree ornament, the shoe only obscured the daunting image behind it as Harden proved the shoe does not make the man but rather the man maketh the shoe.

Harden poured home 41 points on an impressive 11 of 17 shooting, including seven 3s, as he powered the Clippers to a 144-107 win over the Utah Jazz.
The Clippers led by as much as 42 on Monday night before cruising to their 37-point victory.
It was the second 40-point outing of the season for Harden, who said postgame that he felt like he had it going “from the beginning of the game.”
