Ivica Zubac, Clippers bully Lakers to win fourth straight game

INGLEWOOD, Calif. -- A lot is made of every meeting between the LA Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers. But Sunday’s affair was the first time in 25 years one team had to actually travel to the arena of the other, so there was a little more intrigue to it.
Which made it seem even more fitting that it was a former Laker, one that has spent the last six seasons with the Clippers, who made the biggest impact on the night.
Ivica Zubac punished the Lakers for 21 points and 19 rebounds to help the Clippers, who led by as much as 26 on Sunday, come out on top with a 116-102 victory that moved them to 24-17 on the season. Zubac added three blocks, as well.
“I love playing against the Lakers,” Zubac said after the win. “Fans show out, they get into it. It’s always fun. It’s always fun playing [against] one of the best bigs in the league, matching up with AD [Anthony Davis]. It’s always fun.”
Davis ended the night with 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Lakers.
